I’m a 26 year old IT specialist based in Dublin Ireland.
I graduated a few years ago from the Institue of Technology Carlow with a Bsc in Computer Systems Management. Since finishing college I have worked as an IT administrator for the Liam Carroll Group, an Automation Engineer for Intel, a Level 1 Support Specialist for Hewlett Packard, a Google Apps Support Specialist for Google, a fraud analyst for PayPal, and am currently working for a large American CRM company; I specialize in cloud computing, social networking and all other internet related technologies.

I’m a native Irish person, originally from Kilkenny Ireland, but living in Dublin for the past 4.5 years now.

Technology & The Internet:
As can probably be guessed based on my career choices and background I am obsessed with every sort of technological advancement. I have a specific interest in web based applications and cloud computing as well as social networking and collaborative open source software.
My latest addiction in this field would be twitter. I am undoubtedly a twitter addict and you can follow my daily meanderings HERE.
Music:
Speaking of addictions, my other addictions is music, and this is something I need as much if not more so than air. I’m an average guitarist but love to pick up a guitar and sing and play when I get the chance. I used to play with a band in Kilkenny, but due to my move from college to career I’ve only had time to focus on the occasional singer / songwriter performance in Dublin when I get the chance.
I write my own material on occasion and recording it more less than often but this is something I’m hoping to improve on eventually. I also have a YouTube channel for my occasional cover attempts HERE.
Like most guitarists I truly believe that you can never have too many guitars. I know many non-guitarists that would disagree; but its true!

Photography and Film:
I’m an avid Photographer and like to take pictures of anything and everything, I wouldn’t call myself anywhere near professional and can be somewhat snap happy, but I am rarely more than a few feet from one of my camera’s at any given time. I used to carry a digital SLR with me on a daily basis but this has been replaced by a Canon IXUS 85IS for sheer portability.
I also love every aspect of film from camera work to editing. I’ve recently taken my interest in this online on the advice of some friends and have started to create and edit my own video logs or Vlogs and upload them to YouTube, you can find them HERE.
Video Games & Gadgets:
I’m a gamer and I like to play games 
I’ll play any console under the sun and enjoy it, although I have to say that I primarily an Xbox 360 fan and spend a lot of my free time on Xbox Live (Gamertag: Kentar IRL). My favourite games are usually First Person Shooters Or Role-playing games but I’ll play any game once.
I have never gotten into World of Warcraft as I would like to maintain some semblance of a life 
I am also a huge gadget person, I like reading up on the latest gadgets and gizmos and trying them out for myself. I have started to include reviews of some of my latest gadget reviews in my vlogs. For me gadgets usually appeal to the impulse buyer in me, which can be a costly but extremely fun thing
Books:
I have and to my memory have always had an addiction to sci-fi / fantasy books. I have read tonnes of them and have yet to get bored of them. Its hard to pick a favourite author as I started on Tolkein but anything with good characters and a good story and I’m hooked. Examples of authors I like to read most often would be Terry Goodkind, David Gemmell, Robin Hobb and Raymond E.Feist.
